Oh, Vlady...

There is a somberness in the air at Brad and Al's house today caused by the uncertainty of the future of Friend Vlady. Prayers are being said in the hopes that when the situation is finalized, that he is safe, happy, and that his friends will see him again.

Buckets of Busch Light

Sunday night was spent at the I-80 Raceway in Ashland, Ne with Travis, Zach and Rhonda. The bike ride there and back was nice, the cars went fast. Allison was a tad bit disappointed in how few firey wrecks there really are in these kinds of races but NO ONE was disappointed in the strawberry super ropes, the beer buckets, or the free tickets.

Banana Beer and Good Friends

Saturday night, Brad and Al and brooke journeyed to downtown Lincoln for a delicious dinner and drinks at Buzzard Billy's. Shrimp and veggie po' boys for all! Then it was on to Jacks to meet up with some of Brad's co-workers. Who'da thought three beers could cause such a hangover??? It must have been the banana...

Since Brad and Al haven't done anything note-worthy lately, here's a picture of how Luther sleeps in the mornings after Al gets up for work. He completely takes over her spot. Head on the pillow and everything. Cute, huh?

Weenies in Waikiki

On Sunday, Brad and Al took Coco and Bailey to Omaha to the Dachshund Rescue fundraiser. The theme of the day was Hawaiian so Coco put on her Hawaii tee and the two weenies made their debut into society. They also made a few new friends! The little one at the top gets around in a weenie wheelchair and boy, was she spunky!
